    Mother Teresa was in Macedonia in 1910 the 26 August.
    She helped a lot of people.
    Mother Teresa died in Calcutta on the 5 September 1997 aged 87

    Mother Teresa’s exciting life began in Skopje, Macedonia on the 26th of August 1910. She died from congestive heart failure in Kolkata, India on the 5th of September 1997.

    In 1950 she established the Mishionaries of Charity in Calcutta, which provides hospices for those suffering from AIDS, leprosy and other illnesses.

    In 1979, she received the Nobel Peace Prize for her humanitarian efforts and in 2003, she was beatified, the third step toward possible sainthood, by the Catholic Church.

    Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1950. It had over 4500 sisters and worked in 133 countries. She was a novice nun in Darjeeling in the lower Himalayas. Teresa admired Francis of Assisi and was influenced by Franciscan spiritually.

    Mother Teresa was born in August 26. 1910 in Askub.

    When she was 36 years old, Mother Teresa felt a call from God to help the poor of India. She received some basic medical training and then set out to help the sick.

    She died in September 5. 1997 in Calcutta, India.
